Wild Tracks – Budongo Chimps & Murchison Falls Safari

You’ll meet and greet with your professional guide/driver from Flaner Tips Travel Uganda SMC limited at your project house at 7am then depart north bond via Kampala- Gulu Highway while Enjoying scenic views along the way.
Will have a brief stop in Miygera at cafe marlette for some refreshments then proceed to Masindi town via kafu Arrive at Budongo Forest Reserve.

Main activity:

Chimpanzee Trekking:

Experience the thrill of trekking through the forest to observe chimpanzees in their natural habitat. Accompanied by a professional English-speaking guide.

Note: You’ll be given maximum one hour with the chimpanzees once they are encountered and while with the chimps ensure to maintain silence and not to use flashlight photography with your camera.

Soon after the trek we shall Transfer to Ikorom Safari Lodge:

We will arrive at the lodge later that evening at around 5pm-6pm depending on the various activities we will have on the road + seeing various wildlife. Once at the lodge you will be Checked into your room and refresh.

Other activities at the lodge
swimming. ( Unwind from the exhaustion of the 7 hour drive )

Dinner at Ikorom Safari Lodge exactly 8pm
Enjoy a full board meal and relax for the evening.

- Breakfast at Lodge at 7am
- Check-Out by 7:30am and Depart for Murchison Falls National Park via the Tangi gate.

Game Drive:

Explore the park on a guided game drive, spotting various wildlife with our professional guide ( Game drive is 3 hours maximum)

Soon after we shall proceed to Paara docking area for the afternoon boat cruise.

Enjoy a scenic boat cruise on the Nile, observing hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species accompanied by professional guide ( Boat cruise is 3 hours to the bottom of the world’s most powerful waterfalls)

After the boat we will grab a snack at Red chill safari lodge soon after enjoy a evening game drive as we return to Ikorom Safari Lodge for Dinner

Relax and share stories of the day at the camp fire

Early morning packed breakfast at lodge

-Check out and depart for kampala back the project house. We will begin the journey back, enjoying the beautiful ugandan landscape

-Stop for lunch along the way. Enjoy a meal at a local eatery or packed lunch
-Arrival back at the project house (drop off at your original pick-up location)
