Lake Mburo in 48 Hours

Pick-Up Location: will be picked up from your location in Kampala/Entebbe by our friendly driver-guide from Flaner Tips Travel Uganda drive southwest bond via the Kampala- Masaka highway as you enjoy a scenic drive to Lake Mburo National Park, located approximately 4-5 hours from Kampala/Entebbe. Along the way, you will pass through beautiful landscapes, local villages, and picturesque views.

Afternoon Activities:

Arrival at Hyena Hill Lodge: Once you arrive at Hyena Hill Lodge, you will be welcomed with refreshments. This lodge offers a comfortable and serene environment, perfect for relaxation while offering breathtaking views of the park.
Lunch at the Lodge: Enjoy a delicious lunch on a half-board basis at the lodge.

Boat Cruise on Lake Mburo: In the afternoon, set off for a memorable boat cruise on Lake Mburo. This is the perfect opportunity to spot wildlife along the shores of the lake, including hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species, including the famous African fish eagle.
Evening:

Nature Walk: After the boat cruise, take a peaceful guided nature walk to immerse yourself in the beauty of the park and experience the surrounding flora and fauna up close.

Dinner & Overnight: Return to Hyena Hill Lodge for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.

Morning:

Early Game Drive: Wake up early for a thrilling game drive in Lake Mburo National Park. The park is known for its diverse wildlife, including zebras, impalas, elands, buffaloes, and the elusive leopard. Your guide will take you through the best spots for animal viewing.

Breakfast at the Lodge: After your game drive, return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast.

Late Morning:

Equator Experience: On your way back to Kampala/Entebbe, we will stop at the Equator line for a unique experience. Take photos at this iconic landmark where you can stand in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres at the same time.

Afternoon:

Lunch: Enjoy a lovely lunch at a local stop or a designated restaurant on the way back.
Note: This will encounter an extra cost
Transfer Back: After lunch, you will be driven back to your pick-up location in Kampala/Entebbe, with fond memories of your adventure in Lake Mburo National Park.
